Account Manager
The Account Manager is responsible for daily contact between the agency and one or more client accounts. The Account Manager interfaces with various agency departments to move projects through on behalf of the client. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, while ensuring campaigns are executed on time, within budget and align with strategic goals.
Reports to the Account Director
Client Relationship Management:
- Handles day-to-day activities with mid-to-senior level client stakeholders
- Act as liaison between client and agency teams ensuring clear communication and seamless execution
- Effectively presents, sells and defends all agency work/proposals to clients
- Keeps apprised of clients’ brands/products/services/marketing developments
- Anticipates client needs and proactively recommends solutions
- Opportunities for organic growth are identified and pursued
Project and Workflow Management:
- Translate client business objectives into clear agency briefs and actionable project scopes
- Manage large-scale projects, including digital and traditional out-of-home campaigns, from inception to completion
- Quickly prioritize project workflow alongside traffic managers to ensure timelines are met, project forms and details are complete, and team assignments match project needs
- Work closely with creative and production teams to facilitate delivery of final materials for client presentations or for campaign launches
- Manage project specifications and vendor relationships as required to support agency and client efforts
Financial Oversight:
- Create and manage project budgets, timelines and reports as needed by our client and agency teams
- Informs Account Director regularly of account progress for all assigned clients
- Ensures KPIs are defined at project outset and measured appropriately
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
- 3+ years of experience in account management or similar role
- Experience working with financial-services or other regulated industries preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate clearly to clients and internal teams
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
