Cincinnati-based First Financial Bank is a 150-year-old regional bank that has always focused on helping improve and grow their local community. However, brand awareness levels were extremely low throughout the bank footprint. With a refreshed brand position, First Financial was ready to reintroduce itself to the market when the Covid-19 pandemic began.
Amidst the global pandemic, love and support of local communities and businesses became a driving force among consumers. For First Financial to Be Magnetic, connect with their audience, and create fans we had to show how First Financial really knows the community, invests locally, and helps their neighbors.
We developed an entertaining campaign that revolved around the things Cincinnatians love like cheese coney dogs, the annual dachshund race that crowns the fastest wiener dog in town, and Fiona, everyone’s favorite hippo at the Cincinnati Zoo.
The campaign contributed to a 130% lift in daily digital account applications, a 147% increase in organic searches, and a 150% increase in new site visitors in the Cincinnati DMA.
